  • What gets saved

    The query, the filters on each tab and the marketplaces you ticked.

    Clicking the query on the card takes you back to the search with everything in place and runs it again. If you save the same query with the same marketplaces, Ruit gives you back the one you already had.

How to use it, step by step

  1. 1

    Run the search

    With the query, filters and marketplaces you want to keep.

  2. 2

    Click the bookmark

    On a computer it sits next to the search button; it shows as filled in once the search is saved.

  3. 3

    Check its alerts

    On its card, open Alerts and turn on Notifications if you want to be notified.

Good to know

It only runs on its own with its alert on, which takes a plan or the free trial, and then watches the Spanish sites of Wallapop and Vinted. Clicking the bookmark again deletes it.

Is there a maximum number of saved searches?
No. When you have many, the tags and filters on the Saved Searches screen help you find each one.
How often does a saved search run?
Only with its alert on and a plan or the free trial. Then every few minutes during the day and less often overnight, with the runs spread out so they do not all fire at once.
What happens if I delete a saved search?
It stops running and its alerts switch off. If you save the same query with the same marketplaces again, Ruit brings it back.
Why does a saved search find less than the search screen?
Because when it runs on its own it only queries Wallapop and Vinted, and only records what it had not seen. Pick it up again from its card and you are back on the full list.
Does it alert me about everything it finds?
Only if you turn on Notifications, which starts off. Alerts are grouped and have a cap; the rest stays on the Saved Searches screen.
