    eBay asks for your policies; PrestaShop, the product URL.

    eBay needs your shipping, payment and return policies and a leaf category with its required item specifics; if one is missing, Ruit does not publish and tells you which. PrestaShop asks for the product URL in your store and prices before tax. Todocolección requires the section and JPG photos, which Ruit converts for you. IberLibro has no categories: the book is published with its details, with or without an ISBN.

  • Stock when you sell

    When it sells out, eBay ends the listing; IberLibro removes it for good.

    PrestaShop leaves the quantity at zero with the product still published, and Todocolección takes the lot down, which Ruit reactivates when you restock. To sell a book on IberLibro again, it goes up as a new listing.

    Add it to the inventory with photos, title, price and units.

    Choose the accounts

    When you publish, tick the accounts you want it on.

    Publish

    Fill in the details each marketplace asks for and publish.

Good to know

On eBay listings go up at a fixed price and the category and condition cannot change later; on PrestaShop and Todocolección, setting the stock to zero yourself reads as a sale. On IberLibro, Ruit does not edit the listings you already had: it only takes them down when the book runs out.

Can I publish the same product on several marketplaces at once?
Yes: you tick all the accounts you want and each one gets its listing from the same product card. What you cannot do is publish it twice on the same account while the first listing is still live.
Which eBay site does it publish on?
The one for your eBay account's country, and each listing lives on a single eBay site.
Do I have to create the inventory location eBay asks for?
No. Ruit creates it for you when you connect your eBay account, from the postcode you ship from.
Why does PrestaShop ask me for the product URL?
Because PrestaShop requires it and Ruit cannot make it up. Categories, on the other hand, Ruit looks up in your store from the title and leaves ticked for you.
What should I check before publishing on Todocolección?
The section, which Todocolección requires to create the product. And the weight, if you choose its shipping: without it, Ruit uses a minimum weight that is rarely what you want to pay.
