Ruit app screen: Transactions
  • The ones recorded for you

Ruit records each sale it detects as it updates your stock.

    More detail

It is the same step, so there is never a sale without its record or a duplicate record.

  • The ones you add yourself

When you create a product, you log its purchase or sale.

    More detail

The form asks whether you bought it and whether you have sold it or are going to. The price and the date are required, you add whatever costs you have, and Ruit works out the total and the projected profit.

  • The transactions list

Under Inventory, Transactions gathers every record, with search and filters.

    More detail

You search by supplier, buyer or invoice, filter by dates, type, status, marketplace, account and payment method, and from each row you jump to the product, its listings or its orders.

How to use it, step by step

  1. 1

Anything Ruit does not detect, add it when you create the product.

  2. 2

    Add the costs

    So the total matches reality.

  3. 3

    Review and export

Filter the period in Transactions and export the CSV, for example for your accountant.

Good to know

Apart from the sales Ruit detects and completed Wallapop, Vinted or IberLibro orders, you add the rest yourself. If you change the product's cost, Ruit carries it over to its purchase, or creates one if there was none.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Have a question? Contact us

How do I fill a Vinted profit spreadsheet from Ruit?
Filter Transactions by Vinted and by sale, and export that view to CSV: each row can carry the price, every cost and what the product cost you. The export keeps every filter except the account one.
Does Ruit work out the profit of each product?
Yes: the product detail adds up its purchases and sales with their costs, and shows the profit and the margin. When you create the product, the form already shows the projected profit.
Can Ruit work as a Vinted sales tracker?
As a record of each sale, yes: when Ruit detects that a Vinted listing has sold, it records the sale in the same step as it updates your stock. Transactions lists it with the rest, and you can filter by Vinted and by date.
Which costs can I add?
Shipping, marketplace fee, payment fee, packaging, customs on a purchase, other costs and taxes. Also the supplier or the buyer, the payment method, the invoice and your own notes.
Are they also created from orders?
Yes, when Ruit matches the order to one of your listings. A Wallapop, Vinted or IberLibro order, once completed, records the sale or corrects its amount to the real price, by default on every account.
