    Wallapop and Vinted connect through the Ruit extension, which uses the session open in your browser. eBay, by granting permission on its website, and Ruit renews it on its own. Shopify, PrestaShop and IberLibro use your store keys, and Todocolección the credentials its team gives you. WooCommerce supports both the permission and the keys.

  • What happens when you connect

    Connecting does not bring your listings in: you start the import yourself.

    The wizard opens once your phone is verified and suggests at the top the marketplaces where the extension has already seen you signed in. And reconnecting an account updates it instead of duplicating it.

  • Every account shows its status

    A colored dot shows whether the account is connected, due for renewal or expired.

    On Wallapop, Vinted and eBay, Ruit renews the access on its own; the keys of your stores and of Todocolección do not expire. If renewal fails several times in a row, the Reconnect button appears.

How to use it, step by step

  1. 1

    Verify your phone

    For Wallapop or Vinted, install the extension first in a Chromium-based browser.

  2. 2

    Pick the marketplace

    Press Connect Account, pick the marketplace and follow the step it needs.

  3. 3

    Check the account

    Import what you already have published, or publish from your inventory.

Good to know

Wallapop and Vinted accounts only work while their extension's browser is open. And removing an account deletes its data in Ruit for good.

Does Ruit need my marketplace passwords?
No, it never asks for them. It uses your browser session, a permission you grant on the marketplace website or a set of keys that are not your password.
Is there a Vinted API integration?
Vinted does not offer an API to tools like Ruit, so Ruit does not use one: it connects Vinted through the extension, with the session you already have open in your browser.
Can you connect Vinted to Shopify?
Yes, through Ruit: connect both accounts and publish the same product from your inventory to each. When the last unit sells on one, Ruit takes it down from the other, unless you have switched automatic delisting off.
What happens if access to an account expires?
Ruit lets you know and stops talking to that account, but your listings stay for sale and everything else works. Reconnecting fixes it and keeps its listings and orders.
What gets deleted if I remove an account?
Its listings, orders and settings in Ruit, and it cannot be undone. Your products stay and the listings remain on the marketplace: if you wanted them taken down, do it first.
